Our Wildflower honey has an amber colour and a sweet and delicate taste, it is sourced from a multitude of flowers that bloom in the green Irpinia vegetation in Italy. Its taste and colour may slightly vary from year to year as well as the period in which it is harvested, which is according to the floral varieties worked by the tireless bees.
It can be enjoyed in various ways, as a natural sweetener instead of sugar in a cup of warm milk, tea, coffee or to make cakes. It is an excellent salad dressing because its sweetness compliments fresh vegetables.
Wildflower honey has a high energetic value, it has important antioxidant and toning properties, plus it is an aid for digestion.
This honey tends to crystallize over time due to the high ratio between glucose and fructose, this does not alter its quality or properties, on the contrary it becomes very pleasant to spread, for example on toasted bread. If you prefer to enjoy it liquid, just put the jar in a container with hot water for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
